DEVELOPMENT OF NEW GOLFERS
After two successful "try out days" at Warrenpoint and Portstewart, three development centres were created in Autumn/ Winter of 2021. The centres are Donaghadee GC, Warrenpoint GC, and Laganview Golf Centre. Training sessions began late last year and after a Christmas break, resumed in early January. There are a total of eight new recruits, 4 at Laganview and two each at the other venues.

Annmarie Powell
Annmarie pictured alongside Deirdre (volunteer) had never held a golf club until October last year when she took part in the try out day at Portstewart GC. Annmarie's progress has been outstanding after only four lessons and has so much more potential to be untapped. Watch this space!
